Associate Web Designer - Wilmington
This position is based in Wilmington, NC.
Cameron Interactive is looking for a talented artist with great free-hand illustration skills and the ability to create clean web-ready designs. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create graphics independently, as well as take direction in a team-based environment. This position requires a utility player with strong artistic ability, web design expertise, organizational skills, and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Creating web images and digital illustrations.
- Creating graphical User Interface elements.
- Manipulating pixel-level details to create elegant icons.
- Optimizing web images for download efficiency.
- Designing clean, effective web pages.
- Responding to a variety of web and graphics related requests across departments.
- Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Developing and day-to-day maintenance of HTML web content.
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent.
- Freehand illustration skills.
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Solid background and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong knowledge of color theory.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with graphics tablet.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Online portfolio of work required.
